My idea of fun
What do you do for fun? Me, I write. From morning until evening I’m probably sitting somewhere with a cup of coffee and a notebook (or iPad). I love to write, and I love to learn about writing. Training and experience is what I bring to the table for all of my clients.
Mix and match
I am interested in many fields, and that helps me to think about stories differently. As a former employer said, I excel in putting things together in new and interesting ways. A little from column A and a little from column B and we might just end up thinking something different. And different is what you need to stand out in today’s market.
Fast learner
Everyone says they’re a fast learner, right? In my case it’s actually true, and it’s that skill that gets me up to speed on a project much sooner than you can imagine. I’m not wasting your time or money learning what I need to work on your project, and I don’t need hand-holding while I do it. One of my favorite compliments was about six months after I started my first job in power generation, and one colleague told me I knew more about the industry than another employee with 30 years of experience.
What I write
I mostly write long-form content, both in work and my spare time. You can see what I can write for you on my Services page. In my spare time I write novels, and I’ve written and edited several books about baseball. Managing the contributions of forty writers to produce a baseball book was a great experience that I now use to manage the work I do for clients like you.
