The third component of the three-letter acronym KLT is Trust (the first two are Know and Like). Trust is perhaps the most critical of the three. A client might Know just a little about you and still buy from you. A client might not Like you - think of all the complaints about Microsoft - and still buy from you. But if they don't Trust you, you'll never get the sale.

The first component of the three-letter acronym KLT is Know (the others are Like and Trust). Know might seem like it is the most important - if they don't know you, they can't buy from you - but it's really just the top of the sales funnel. Having said that, as you go down the funnel it becomes more important at every step.
